[TIA Conference Luncheon] Code Without Barriers: Empowering women in tech and female founders

Code Without Barriers: Empowering women in tech and female founders

What is this?

We’re creating even more chances for our community to connect, learn, and grow together at Tech in Asia Conference 2022. This in-person event is exclusively available to General Pass and Priority Pass ticket holders! Get your tickets, while they last!

Why you should attend

Research from Boston Consulting Group estimates that women hold less than 28% of the leadership positions in tech worldwide. Leading the change is Southeast Asia, where women account for 32% of tech talent in the tech sector. However, developers are still notoriously a male-dominated role.

As the tech scene in Southeast Asia continues to grow, Tech in Asia and Microsoft are committed to helping diversity scale with it. As part of this initiative, we’re adding a luncheon to the Tech in Asia Conference 2022 agenda to discuss how we can achieve that.

We’re inviting leaders, founders, and developers who are passionate about diversity, as well as anyone looking to break into the tech industry, to voice their challenges, ideas, and questions alongside key points including:

How diversity and inclusion impacts today’s workplace Why it is important for businesses to embrace intentional diversity and inclusion The challenges leaders face with driving and enabling greater representation in the workforce What the Code Without Barriers initiative does for women in the tech community How startups can make the most of what Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub is doing for startup communities

A smart refrigerator isn't one with screens, cameras, and wifi. It's one that knows to dim the light when you open it at 3 am.
