SYNC 2022 goes to Bali

As the world opens up, we’re all hungry for networking opportunities and real, human connections. That’s why Tech in Asia is glad to announce the return of SYNC, our premier tech summit for the region’s top business leaders and decision-makers. And this year, we’re going to hold it in Bali, Indonesia, from August 3 to 5.

Organized in partnership with AppWorks, this year’s SYNC will be a three-day event held at the Conrad, situated along the waters of Nusa Dua. The closed-door, invite-only summit will bring together some of Asia’s biggest changemakers – ranging from investors, corporate leaders, and founders – and open up opportunities through a mix of open and structured interactions.

On the surface, SYNC 2022 may seem like a business event by the beach, interspersed with wellness segments and cocktail sessions. However, SYNC aims to deliver tangible value to participants by designing an environment where they can make connections that could lead to great business outcomes. We’ll do this by facilitating networking events like roundtables and intensive forums as well as multiple avenues for interactions in small groups.

We are extending personal invitations to the top 100 tech leaders in Asia, who are at the helm of firms such as GoTo Group, Beam, Data.ai, Kyber Network, East Ventures, and AC Ventures, and gathering them all in one place to exchange thoughts, insights, and connections. Every participant will be closely vetted, ensuring that everyone at SYNC can reap the most benefit from those three days together.

SYNC up

As the world recovers from the Covid-19 pandemic while grappling with global crises and a looming recession, we hope that SYNC can serve as a judgment-free space where everyone can sit down with like-minded individuals to share ideas, cultivate networks, and create opportunities for innovation to occur.

Whether you’re a business leader looking for new partnerships, a founder seeking funding, or an investor searching for avenues of growth, SYNC will help nurture the right conversations to move the needle.

By bringing together key movers and shakers, we aim to help accelerate Asia’s growth, especially in the face of the challenges that lay ahead.

We’ve also brought in some of Asia’s best entrepreneurs and leaders to offer perspectives in an intimate and focused setting. We’re honored to be hosting these speakers at SYNC:

Tessa Wijaya, co-founder and COO, Xendit Juliet Zhu, group president and CFO, Carsome Jamie Lin, chairman and partner, AppWorks Steven Kalifowitz, chief marketing officer, Crypto.com

While this event is by invitation only, we know that there are lots of great talent who may not have been on our initial list but could bring plenty to the table. If you or someone you know fits the bill, please apply for an invite here.

We’re looking forward to having great discussions and forming valuable connections at SYNC, which will be Tech in Asia’s first full-scale in-person event since 2020. We can’t wait for you to join us.
